Brent Flory Bio

Brent Flory graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.F.A. in Illustration. He has been in numerous solo and juried shows including The Cowboy Christmas at the NFR in Las Vegas, The 2005 Charlie Russell show in Great Falls, MT, the Phippen Western Art Show in Prescott, AZ, The National Western Art Show and Auction in Ellensburg, WA, and The Mountain Oyster Show in Tucson, AZ.

 

At the 2000 Western Art Roundup in Winnemucca, he received Best of Show, The Indian Heritage Award, and Silver Medal in oils. At the 2001 San Dimas, CA show, he received Best of Show, Festival Choice Award, and Silver Medal in oils, and at the 2001 Albuquerque Indian Market, he received the Best 2-D Art award. At the 2002 San Dimas, CA show, he received Gold Medal in oils. At the 2004 Traces of the West Art Show in Ogden, UT Brent received Best of Show. His work is held in many private collections throughout the United States, Canada, Japan, Europe, and Russia.

 

Brent was featured in the Fall 2001 Equine Vision Magazine, with his painting "All I Need", on the cover. He was also featured in a group article in the InformArt Magazine 2002 summer issue. In 2007, Brent was accepted into the Western Artists of America group. Brent and his wife and family live on and manage a ranch in Wallsburg, UT.
